While the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) brings principles and theory to the role, the acquisition of critical thinking skills will be developed in the specialized care setting. The LPN demonstrates unit/department specific competencies, and competency in caring for specialized procedures and practices for specialty care services including but not limited to cardiology, gastroenterology, oncology, endocrinology, diabetes, rheumatology, and neurology. This position will be mainly in oncology. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
