The mission of VA CLCs is to provide a dynamic array of services in person-centered environments that meet the individual needs of residents, providing excellent health care and quality of life. The LPN provides nursing care to patients according to established facility procedures adhering to all VA and nursing policies, procedures, standards and protocol. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Education: Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State agency and/or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (Formerly: National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission).
